Master of Arts in Education (MA Ed)

The MA Ed program prepares educators who promote social justice through improved teaching practices, curriculum development, instructional design and assessment, program planning, and research. The program also serves those seeking leadership and consulting roles in organizations with an educational focus.

Master of Arts in Special Education (MA SPED)

The MA SPED program provides the psychological, developmental, sociological, and multicultural foundations necessary to teach students in special education settings — K-12 to age 22. The program is designed for those who meet the California basic educational skills and subject matter requirements, or equivalent experience as determined by our credential analyst team.

Master of Arts in School Administration (MA SA)

The MA SA program teaches principles of leadership, management, finance, human resources (HR), curriculum development, and assessment to prepare well-rounded school administrators. The program is designed for those who possess a valid teaching, designated subjects, or services credential; who have at least three years of classroom teaching experience or experience in a service area field; and who meet the California basic skills requirement.

  • Credentialed teachers may transfer up to six units of graduate-level coursework.
Master of Arts (MA) in Educational Therapy

The MA in Educational Therapy program prepares you with the foundation to better serve students with learning difficulties. The program requires applicants to hold a four-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Experience in schools or classroom settings is highly recommended, but not required.
